We review the draft tenancy agreement and the available property documents, focusing on legal and financial risks, rent and indexation provisions, the security deposit, service charges and other additional costs, the duration of the tenancy, termination clauses, the parties’ obligations and any special conditions.
Before you sign, we explain the terms of the agreement, identify potentially unfavourable or unclear provisions and check whether the arrangements made with the landlord have been recorded correctly and adequately protect the tenant’s interests.
